Maria Partners with Veronica Beard, to help Emerging Female Entrepreneurs

To celebrate Women’s History Month in March, tennis champion, Maria Sharapova is proud to partner with female-owned fashion brand, Veronica Beard, for their charitable initiative, Veronica Beard Gives Back.

As part of #VBGivesBack, the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO) will benefit from proceeds raised from sales throughout the month of March, directing them toward the Sharapova Women’s Entrepreneur Program – a cohort hybrid business mentorship incubator for the “Spectacular 7” female entrepreneurs that were selected to participate in program.

Sharapova commented: “Veronica Beard is the perfect partner for this initiative, as we share the common thread of working to empower and embolden female business owners. I’m grateful to the Veronicas for their support of the Spectacular 7 women who are part of my mentorship program through NAWBO.”

Throughout the month of March, $10 from every online purchase made on will go to benefit NAWBO and the Maria Sharapova Women’s Entrepreneur Program. There are no codes necessary at checkout and no minimum purchases – at the end of the month, the Veronica Beard team will tally up all proceeds from March orders and make the donation directly to NAWBO.

The Sharapova Women’s Entrepreneur Program consists of 7 Women Business Owners that were selected from a nationwide call for applicants by Sharapova, in partnership with NAWBO and the NAWBO Institute. The program runs for 12 months, and is a cohort-based virtual/in-person hybrid program that includes mentorship, peer-to-peer support, mastermind and educational components to be delivered on a monthly basis by NAWBO and the Sharapova Business Resource Team led by Traub Consumer.
