Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day

Maria took part at the annual Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day in New York City.  Maria hit the trading floor and conducted trades with clients and customers.

For the charity day, Maria wore a dress by Isa Arfen and shoes by YSL.

On Facebook, Maria posted:
Spent the afternoon taking trades as part of Cantor Fitzgerald Relief Fund Charity Day 2016. Thrilled to be part of this very worthy cause. #CantorRelief #BGCCharityDay #NYC

On September 11th, 2001, Cantor Fitzgerald lost 658 employees and friends. Howard Lutnik, the CEO, lost his younger brother along with countless friends.

It was in their grief that they committed themselves to helping families that were feeling as lost as they were. Howard and his sister,Edie, created the Cantor Fitzgerald Charity Day. Throughout one day, CFG donates 100% of their global revenue to various charities and philanthropic endeavors.

Last year Charity Day generated over $12 million dollars given out to over 100 charities that all give back at the community level for causes tied to areas important to current Cantor Fitzgerald employees – health, children, education, etc.

Uniquely the CFG Charity Day has a number of high profile celebrities at the event, all working to help raise money for causes that they back.
