Maria's impressive form is continuing at the Australian Open as
she has won her second consecutive match without dropping a game.
Maria defeated Misaki Doi 6-0 6-0 in 46 minutes.
This is Maria's fourth time in Grand Slams that she has won a
match without dropping a game (2010 US Open vs. Capra, 2012 Roland
Garros vs. Cadantu and 2013 Australian Open vs. Puchkova).
Maria took the first set in only 23 minutes. In the set, Maria hit
seven winners to five unforced errors. On serve, Maria had a first
serve percentage of 53% and won 89% of points on first serve and
50% on second serve. The second set as the first set took 23
minutes and Maria won exactly the same number of points: 24.
In Friday's third round match, Maria will play No.25 seed Venus
Williams of the United States. Maria has played Williams seven
