After a good start in 2013, Winning Indian Wells and reaching Miami final, It's time for Clay court season. The titles  Maria achieved last year, All were on clay court Maria has a lot points and titles to defeat , Including Stuttgart , Rome and Roland Garros . First tournament that Maria will play is Stuttgart, Which she won last year by defeating Azarenka in final match This year Maria is seeded No.1 and defending champion , I think It's a perfect preparation for Maria, for sure that will affect her performance in other clay court tournaments. By the way these tournaments are big chance for reclaiming No.1 spot againLet's hope a successful tournament for Maria

Hi Frida, I do need to correct you here, as Maria has many points to defend and Serena almost none. No, I do not see Maria reclaiming the # 1 spot before september / october. It is almost impossible to have the same clay court season as last year. If Maria does , I do take my hat off. It is a surprise to me that Azarenka is not playing in Stuttgart, as she also has many point to defend. By the way ; Read in an article that Maria / Grigor are still together and are in LA at the moment.

I think Maria Sharapova loves her fans more than this "bulgarian boy". So don't worry about him.

Maria Sharapova loves you a lot.

Do you know what is important for Maria actually ?

She wants to have 100 millions of fans who support and love her.

"I'd love to open a tennis school for children in my hometown of Sochi." said Sharapova Maria.

Also Roland Garros and Wimbledon dress :)

Above you can see dresses Maria Sharapova is expected to wear for the upcoming Grand Slams – the purple one with lime straps and light patches on the sides at the French Open and the white one at Wimbledon.

Claypova Time 2013.
Certainly the 2012 clay season with four tournaments, three titles and one of them Roland Garros, has been the best of her career.

But now she has to defend everything done in 2012, and are 3620 pts to defend and just 2000 by Roland Garros, which will be difficult task, but the good thing is that we know is possible.
Now the possibilities are relative but the ideal is that Maria keeps the No. 2 to keep Serena far away until the finals, as both will play the same tournaments, but meanwhile Maria in Stuttgart and Madrid should be something quiet even if she lose in 1st round, but In Rome will be difference she has 900 pts to defend, and that could be risky in the ranking.
Points to defend
For now I can't make the "possible changes" in the rankings because are 4 tournaments, and there wouldn't be many changes in the top 3 until Rome, and during Rome Maria in the worst case she could drop to No. 3 but depends Vika.
Maria has no chance of climbing to No. 1, unless Maria could defend her points and Serena makes a horrible performance.
Agniezka defends 1281 pts and is 2480 pts of difference against Vika and so Aga has very little chances to into the top 3, the only one possibility depend of Maria.
Once in Roland Garros all things could change, if Maria is unable to defend her points, she will depends on what Vika and Aga do, the only serious possibility that Maria drops to 4th place is if she lose before Quarterfinals, so Maria must do Quarterfinals at least, not to leave the top 3.

If Maria wins one of her 3 tournaments, I will be more then pleased !!
