Good start by Maria, against Czink of Hungary. 8 games in a row, to take the first set 62 and an advantage of 30 in the second. Then 32 and further 4 games in a row won by Maria to take the set 62 and the match. Unfortunately, there was a blackout (hope temporary) to the usual channel that transmits the WTA Events, so I was forced to follow the match on a scoreboard, with all the consequent limits. But the development of the scores seems to indicate that Maria prevailed sufficiently easily. No chance for Czink. After a strong rain, good time in New York.
