Maria Sharapova played an exhibition match against Barbara Lepchenko at hurlingham club and Maria won the match. 


Barbara Lepchenko, the american tennis player was lucky to play with the tennis player number 1. 






"I'd love to open a tennis school for children in my hometown of Sochi." said Sharapova Maria.

FYI: Lepchenko does not Anglicize her name. If the Brits are calling her "Barbara", they are in error. In America as in the old country, her name is Varvara.
