Eurosport showed some matches from court 10 today so they probably will show Maria's. The possible court change could be due to the fact that if Mardy Fish's go on for too long they need to find another court for Maria vs Peer because Peer is playing doubles later. Maria has had one day to recharge her batteries. Peer played today so maybe her batteries will be a little slow. I hope so anyway. Bad timing again as I will be at work! I can follow the live scores on the pc though.

Today I've watched consistent performances from Victoria Azarenka and Caroline Wozniacki. Winning her next match Maria has a big chance to face Azarenka in the quarters and she can also face Caroline in the semis, unfortunately the draw put these girls in the same side what means that only one of them can reach the final.

Perhaps. Yeah Court 10 in itself is not suspicious. What is missing is a "Not before" time--typical to broadcast matches. But commentator Guy McCree DID say Eurosport would show the match. We'll see.

OH. :giu: Thanx for the heads-up. Nella/Brebis & I both had negative experience with TennisTv. Turns out they're crooked as you might expect from anything WTA-associated. Forget them. They provide nothing anymore you can't get thru free streams anyway.

Yes. I agree. I tried them too. Don't bother with them. As Paul said, they don't offer anything others don't.

This does not look good to me. That sort of scheduling suggests an intentional ploy to avoid the cameras.  OTOH, that in itself might say there is no fix in to guarantee a Peer win.

Great serves from Maria. Really good ones. She held her serve to LOVE. 2-3 Shahar serving.


She's producing really good KICK 2nd serves today. Sharapova's groundstrokes are really good today! Despite Shahar keeping a lot of balls in play, still Maria can really go for a KILL. 


Sharapova breaks again. 4 straight games for Maria. Winners are booming from her forehand side. Sharapova serving now. 4-2.


Fired her first ACE for 40-0! And another ACE to close that easy game! 2nd consecutive love game in Sharapova's serve. She's on the roll now.

Shahar asked for the coach. The coach advised Shahar to hit higher balls. 2-5. Shahar serving to stay in the set. The environment in court 10 is just so "distracting". :D Too many people walking around.


 


Sharapova took the set in her first opportunity. Sharapova played an excellent 1st set. She took 6 consecutive games.

Sharapova's serve and groundstrokes are really good! 3rd consecutive LOVE game from Sharapova. VERY EASY SERVICE HOLDS FOR HER. 0-1 Shahar Peer serving now.


Sharapova breaks! 2-0 now. WOW! What a point that was! That's got to be the point of the DAY!


3-0 for Sharapova now! Sharapova just snatched 9 CONSECUTIVE GAMES! Shahar Peer managed to hold avoiding a bagel.


3-1 Sharapova to serve. She held her serve comfortably. 1-4 Shahar to serve. I just noticed, this years French Open, she's got a pretty good percentage to go far. Considering there's not much BIG NAMES are competing.


Shahar managed to hold again. 4-2 Sharapova to serve. Another LOVE hold for Maria. 1-2 punch combination really working well for her.
