Great to be back on here again. Did you folks miss me or what???? Hopefully, we can all celebrate with a Masha victory in the desert!!!
My Canuck gal, Rebecca Marino from Vancouver, unfortunately lost to E Makarova last night, though she had plenty of chances to win that match. Well, she's no Milos Raonic!!!! I've been really lovin' that Canuck kid who's really impressed the whole tennis world this year. He won his first ever ATP 1000 match today (another game for Milos!!!) and has a rematch with Marty Fish next round.
Lived thru my fifth tsunami this morning, though it was only 30 cm!!! You really pay attention to these things when you live 500 feet from the beach, right at sea level!!!! My heart and prayers go out to all those folks in Japan or who have loved ones over there. Hopefully we don't see the BIG ONE right off our coast in my lifetime!!!
Well back to Masha. She should win her second round match, though it seems, these days, that there are easy ones for her anymore. After Cincinnati last summer, I really thought she had gotten her confidence back, but ever since she lost to the Princess at the USO, she has not been the same again, as it was a very disappointing fall to say the least. Still, she has done many positive moves in my opinion by getting a new coach and changing rackets. I think she's been adjusting to these changes so far this year and will hopefully put it all together again soon. I know she can do this, as she has the game to be the best when it is all working right!!!
GO MARIA!!!

Masha is my #1!!
