Tear gas--yikes! lovecorner--you are in Lebanon, right? Street-heat in Beruit? World-historic events, man.

Seems that you forgot that I'm Egyptian Mr Paul, and I participated in January 25th great Revolution. I'm sure you heared about it, the whole world did.

Sorry, sir. So many names, so many places. Like I said--world-historic. You guys have forced a change in in everyone's theories! (Slogan here now is "Walk like an Egyptian".) I LIKE it! Salut!

I cannot believe Vera blew a 5-1 lead & is in a tiebreak!   Whew! She pulled it out! 76(4) Nine DFs--better clean up her act.

Great to be back on here again. Did you folks miss me or what???? Hopefully, we can all celebrate with a Masha victory in the desert!!!

My Canuck gal, Rebecca Marino from Vancouver, unfortunately lost to E Makarova last night, though she had plenty of chances to win that match. Well, she's no Milos Raonic!!!! I've been really lovin' that Canuck kid who's really impressed the whole tennis world this year. He won his first ever ATP 1000 match today (another game for Milos!!!) and has a rematch with Marty Fish next round.

Lived thru my fifth tsunami this morning, though it was only 30 cm!!! You really pay attention to these things when you live 500 feet from the beach, right at sea level!!!! My heart and prayers go out to all those folks in Japan or who have loved ones over there. Hopefully we don't see the BIG ONE right off our coast in my lifetime!!!

Well back to Masha. She should win her second round match, though it seems, these days, that there are easy ones for her anymore. After Cincinnati last summer, I really thought she had gotten her confidence back, but ever since she lost to the Princess at the USO, she has not been the same again, as it was a very disappointing fall to say the least. Still, she has done many positive moves in my opinion by getting a new coach and changing rackets. I think she's been adjusting to these changes so far this year and will hopefully put it all together again soon. I know she can do this, as she has the game to be the best when it is all working right!!!

GO MARIA!!!

Hey, deadchip Glad the wave didn't amount to much there. Yeah, Biblical-proportion bummer for Japan.  I kinda wish our Filipino friends would check in.

Though pulling for Katya, I like Rebecca Marino--wish we got the opportunity to see her play more, but she's coming along. Probably soon.

Ditto.

That's 03:00 GMT Sunday in London. Here's the OOP in PDF: http://www.wtatennis.com.../posting/2011/609/OP.pdf

Europeans & others, remember: There will be an hour time adjustment after today's play--as the US goes on Daylight Savings Time.

Maria will play Medina Garrigues after Nadal's match.

The surprise of the day was: Andy Murray lost to Donald Young 7-6 6-3.

Maria's match will start around 19:00 local time. Nadal is playing now.

Nadal won his match 6-0 6-2. Maria's mach will start in few minutes.

Unfortunately I didn't find a streaming to watch Maria's match. I watched Nadal's match on livescorehunter.com but there aren't streamings for female tennis. Caroline, Victoria played today and Maria will play now but I coudn't watch any of them. So angry with that.

Hi.  No sign of streams yet--far as I can see. Guess we're stuck with Live Scores. The girls are warming up now.

Jeez! Nastia & JJ beat Dulko & Pennetta in doubles 75 75 !!!!!!!!!!
