She just needs to blow her nose and say to herself...Hey, I'm supposed to be a great tennis player.  It's time for me to get the cobwebs out of my head and start acting like one.

Yes, I second that:

It's time to get the cobwebs out of the head and start thinking

about the fact that we are not pleased any more and the sponsors are not too.

dont know anything on that matter .. but all i can tell u is that Bill knows that Yuri will be joining Masha as of 2011 season .... that's all he as well as me or other close to Masha staff here @ IMG know abt it .. again it is nothing clear by this time .. Yuri is in Japan with Masha right now and he will be in China as well ....

all there is to say is to see and wait an official confirmation from Masha staff .

I know. We might as well post this since it's on the ticker...

Serena Williams may play at the WTA event in Moscow in three weeks' time.

"The tournament visa service confirms that Russian visa support was requested by Serena Williams and her team," said the tournament website. "Serena's agent Jill Smoller has already sent all necessary documents."

Williams, who has not played since cutting her feet and undergoing surgery in July, recently pulled out of events in Tokyo and Beijing over the next two weeks.

I heard that Maria is in Beijing already. According to the reports from fans, she's practicing hard. She must be really working hard. Hope she'll be able to fix her serve ASAP. Davai! [:)]

I' would think most will get to Beijing ASAP--although China policy (unlike some I could name) is very friendly & helpful to players. I don't think this is pursuant to any WTA rule:

Elena defeats Zvonareva in Tokyo
30th September 2010
Elena defeated No.2 seed Vera Zvonareva 7-5 6-2 in 1 hour and 41 minutes to reach the semis in at the Toray Pan Pacific Open in Tokyo.

With this win, Elena guaranteed herself a bye in the first round in Beijing next week - all Tokyo semi-finalists receive this.
