Ksenia Pervak, champion at Tashkent.

Ksenia Pervak not only took away 37,000 dollars for her win, she was also given a brand new car.

Ksenia Pervak's tattoo--looks like Cyrillic script. Can anyone read this?

Wow. Marta is a breath of fresh air, hunh?

SEOUL Probably no stream. The final may show on various Korean commercial channels carried thru wwitv & on SopCast, etc. But difficult to find. Webcasters may or may not acquire.

Sunday, September 25, 2011 FINAL

Centre Court (from 12.00hrs) (03:00 GMT)
1. Singles Final: Galina Voskoboeva vs. María José Martínez Sánchez

2. Doubles Final: Grandin/Uhlirova vs. Dushevina/Voskoboeva (after suitable rest)

Davaiii, Galina!!!  And for the Rus in the Doubles!

(FYI: The semi was not as straightforward as the results suggest.  Singles - Semifinals
Galina Voskoboeva (KAZ) d. (5) Polona Hercog (SLO) 61 64. BUT, Galina had to turn the 2nd set around. Watched the scores come in & she had to come back from 14.)

Championat -- Diatchenko has made her way into the main draw of the tournament in Linz

Rossiyanka Vitalia Diatchenko in the final qualification for the tournament in Linz, confidently overcame Briton Anne Keotavong 6:4, 6:2. 21-year-old native of Sochi, who occupies 128th place in the WTA rankings--her opponent in the first circle of the main competition will be known after the draw.

Another representative of Russia Evgeniya Rodina lost to Frenchwoman Stephanie Foretz-Gacon - 1:6, 5:7.

(Actually the draw is up but qualies yet to be assigned: http://www.wtatennis.com...posting/2011/528/MDS.pdf )

Update: Vitalia assigned to target Ksenia Pervak in the first round--in the dark. Linz "draw" clearly manipulated by the WTA cold warriors.  No, I'm cutting no slack anymore. When you watch the same shit pulled on Russians in almost every frackin' tournament, you are just plain stupid not to draw the appropriate conclusions.
