Yea, me too--absolutely my sole motivation. 8-)

Really.  I KNEW she looked like someone but until you mentioned Anna K, it didn't connect.

Only time I previously remember seeing Vitalia play was a couple of years ago--match where that Nordic French girl Johansson hit the mother of all chokes & Vitalia came back from like 2-5 down--almost every point saving a match point--and won! She looked different then, more like the younger picture on Wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vitalia_Diatchenko

PodgeMcQ alerts us to her deal in Ireland: http://www.sportsnewsire....com/other_sports/32370/

This is all interesting stuff--her circumstances sound very like a kontraktniki setup, except that she continues to play under the Russian flag.  Sorta Dublin's Sharapova? Need to learn more.

Playing doubles on Wednesday:

Court 8 4th match
Ladies' Doubles First Round
Vitalia Diatchenko(RUS) / Vera Dushevina(RUS) /
Maria Kondratieva(RUS) vs. Ekaterina Makarova(RUS)

Unlikely to see this on Court 8,  :wtf: BUT:

FYI: SkySport Italian "Simulicast" stream bounces between courts including showing some matches for which independent streams are not posted... beguns13.00hrs CEST daily: :tv_happy:

Thanks for the info, Paul. I do know you and your motivation. I think sometimes we share the same taste.

Today I'm still in NYC, so no way to have a look on that hottie. I hope she's still there next week. In France I will have a chance to catch her match on Eurosport. Here in the US, ESPN and ESPN2 suck!

Interesting--I've seen Sirotkina's name but haven't seen her play.

"Marta has begun the upward curve needed by undergoing an intensive training camp at the excellent Tennis Ireland BNP-Paribas National Academy in Dublin under the guidance of the Internationally respected Garry Cahill (former Irish Fed Cup captain and current Davis Cup captain).  Based in the wonderful surrounds of the Plaza Hotel in Tallaght..."

So who puts this stuff together?

"Hiberno International have a team of more than 20, spread across 3 countries but the core group of c. 14 are based in Croatia.  We maintain offices in Ireland (Dublin), Russia (Moscow) and Croatia (Knin).  Our strategic partners add to our network where we now can offer services in the MENA region."

Think we should learn more about this Irish-Croat-Russian axis, don't you? :ninja:

First Vitalia Diatchenko who f.....g looks like Kournikova! Now this ...(hmmm let me find her name again..) Marta Sirotkina who reminds me of sweet Makiri. Both are cute and hot. That makes me still love (female) tennis.

Kudo to Paul who digs out all these beauties.

Hi, Tiger. Yeah, I saw Justine there for Burning Khrome.

Thanx, M-Lover, but I must note that it is Podge who revealed this intriguing Ireland-Croatia-Russia connection & the girls involved.

Now, talking babes: If the stream holds up, Coming up shortly in Bastad:

Edit: Damn it! They moved them to Centre Court & I'm not finding a stream. :x (Bastad this year is streaming from both Centre & Court 1)

Brazhnikova/Melander vs. Beltrame/Savinykh

Oh, well--Beltrame/Savinykh won 62 76(3). I'd like to have seen this Brazhnikova 'cause she's an Uzbek émigrée to Sweden-sorta a Swedish Lepchenko... Anyway, maybe we will get another opportunity to see the winners. BTW, Valeria's partner is Severine Beltrame, the classy French dilletante player. I think they are only in the doubles.

Valeria SAVINYKH:

The poster sounds as if she's looking at actual media. Not all Irish newsprint stories are gonna be reflected online. Are you finding anything yet today?

The HI page is still up.

Diatchenko works with Cahill, gets press, gets backing. A little success & now this, It may be someone is screwing with her. (I'm talking the Yanieefied cold warriors with their vendetta against all Russians everywhere.) Either by spreading rumor & gossip or by actual interference with her business.

It's difficult to appraise until we know more about what she's plugged into--check out the Hiberno Intl lead and try to follow her activity more closely.

Little chance of stream unless something unexpectedly shows up on http://www.e-tennis.tv/ or someplace like that. But sometimes you can get as much through news or still photos--nobody is gonna report on the business end, anyway. It's all about clues, who's with her & stuff like that.
