I didn't get to see that glorious thirty minutes. [:P] I'm still checking around but it looks like I'm limited to the matches streamed specifically by Eurosport France, and they went to rugby after Mauresmo's match. (Big country like Russia, I had a couple of additional portals, but Switzerland seems to have no domestic webcasts of the tournament. Maybe the Russian outlets will go live or at least rerun their girls' Zürich matches.)
It would never have been four. I think it was always either Stuttgart or Moscow and the weight was for Moscow. I'll engage in hypotheticals to a point. (Like that Seoul obviously belonged to Kiri had not Venus been slumming) but, no, I don't "know" that Masha would have done any good. To be entirely fair, even to Serena, everyone is worn down by this point and the elite eight are conserving what energy they have left for the YEC. That's a problem these late tournaments confront every year.
