This year i think maybe JH, i'm not too big a fan of her's and i would like Maria to retain her title but i do give a good shot at the williams but they are so inconsistent, with them you never know.
I hope Maria has done something to hide her serve problems because that won't affect her in the early round but as she gets deeper say 2nd week big, better players that know weaknesses and how to bring them out, it will be interesting, i figure her ignoring the problem is just not good enough
Ana ivanovic should have a gd US Open i mean this fast hard court will do her well she has her own serve problems it's not really gd her toss goes way to the right. Like i said the williams they love the faster surfaces and it show caes their game really well, maybe even Vaidisova they may be a few surprises from the chinese and the Japanese Yan Zi and Na Li
