I know, she is too far away in the rankings, but maybe if some results came up (such as players withdrawals or bad results as well as Maria victories in tournaments), she can enter OR AT LEAST END THE YEAR INSIDE THE TOP 10. What do you think guys, can she qualify, what do you expect, do you prefer she wouldnt qualify and preserve for next season?
No way she can qualify now. Elena will have to get about another 300 points to pass Jankovic--and JJ hasn't done squat. If there were two withdrawals from within the eight, first Dementieva then Azarenka would move up. (As it stands, they are the alternates who will get a nice little hunk of change just to go party at Doha.
So what I'd like is moot. But hey, if she were likely to play Doha, she wouldn't play Kremlin Cup and I wanna see her in Moscow again. [H]
hey hey hey! just saw this at facebooks newsfeed:
At this point, most likely JJ & Dementieva, with Azarenka as first alternate.
The four contending doubles teams qualified for Doha are:
1) Dulko/Pennetta2) Peshke/Srebotnik3) Raymond/Stubbs4) King/Shvedova [H]
no doubt to JJ, Lena and Vika.. hehehe.. [Y]
yeah.. right that you have underlined Shvedova's name
Just out from WTA: Ignore the hypocritical praise from Alaster. [:P] TWO Russians in the Elite Eight, probably a Belarusian as first alternate, and the Russian Kazakhstani kontraktnika in the doubles! [H]
