Larsson used to play for Celtic! He was a great player, probably one of the all time greats of Celtic. Man U were always trying to lure him away from Celtic but larsson didn't leave. He's a good player no doubt, but I,m not sure if Man U really need another striker?

yea he is class... one of the best to come out of sweden. Man U really do need a striker.. Alan Smith and Solsjaer arent really in form .. and with Rossi on loan .. Larsson could help a big deal.
I would prefer a longer measure like Torres or Defoe but then Fergie has this habit of picking up some of the aging greats like scmeichel, van der sar , L blan and now Henrik..

I am a United fan, but I don't think signing Larsson will do any good to United. I think we have enough strikers and mid-fielders at the moment, but we shall see. Get Phil Neville back to United from Everton is even better. He is more dependable than Carrick.
