Latest news is that Maria has decided to give the Stanford tournament a miss and to start her US Open quest with the Rogers Cup tournament in Canada in August.  That gives her a few weeks to get some more photoshoots in and a Sugarpova shop opening in Toronto.  Then, we will see what this new Maria Jimbopova has to offer.

This is the REAL wife of Serena Williams' coach...

Maria Sharapova is an independant person who knows exactly what she is doing. She doesn't choose her new coach by chance. If you have a better coach you should save time...or it is better to keep your old one...

Six hours a day of hard tennis training is enough for Maria Sharapova, the rest of the time she can have a rest or promote Sugarpova....

I think it is better to promote Sugarpova rather than sleeping with your married coach the rest of the day...

A coach who sleeps with his tennis player is not a strong&serious coach. You can't train strongly and make love.

Serena Williams wins tournaments because she has another secret...her coach should know it too.

Serena Williams told us that Maria works so hard but she has less results than her...

That also means that Serena Williams has a secret...I hope everybody understands what is this secret...doped

"I'd love to open a tennis school for children in my hometown of Sochi." said Sharapova Maria.

She was lucky to find a guy who likes tough meat that has almost past its 'sell by' date.

Oh and stop messing up my new thread with your crap.  Stick to the matter at hand.

Yes Serena's coach likes meat. He is an old man. He has no choice. meat or nothing for breakfast...

I know that Maria will win a tournament very soon.

Maria Sharapova wants to have better results that is why she changed her coach...

So let's follow her in future tournaments...

On the 'bank of the west classic' website there is no withdrawl yet ?! On the other hand , no points to defend, as Maria did not play the tournament last year . Maria only plays when she is ready !!!

Apologies, Philli, but I gotta say something about Mouratoglou: Patrick may have a few years on him but this guy could have half the tennis babes on court--y'all KNOW that. Figure it like Bill Clinton: the Secret Service could have set him up dates with, like Sharon Stone!  Total discretion -- just like they did for Kennedy. Instead, he messed around with trailer trash. See, that's what tripped his trigger--think this is kinda the same deal--Pat's gotta little perversion going on.

Apprently she has some hip injury right? Well, probably best not to play. We'll see her @ The ESPYs in a couple of days and then not for a couple weeks. I hope she is training hard and not spending all her time f**king her boyfriend or doing more photoshoots

Oh lalal this coach could have half the tennis babas, so he left his wife...I don't think he is a serious coach. He is lucky that Serena is doped, he has nothing to do during training...

Serena Williams apologises to Maria Sharapova over boyfriend barb

Sharapova hit back on Saturday telling the world number one to keep her nose out of other people's business, adding an edge to the women's competition at the grasscourt slam.

Serena Williams: "I personally talked to Maria at the player party, incidentally. I said, look, I want to personally apologise to you if you are offended by being brought into my situation. I want to take this moment to just pour myself, be open, say I'm very sorry for this whole situation... "I'm the first person to reach out to individuals and people if I feel that something may have hurt them or something may have been misconstrued."

Dartagnan: We hope that one day Serena Williams will apologise to Maria Sharapova over being over-doped at the Olympic Games 2012, Roland Garros 2013, Roma tournament....because few people believe in Serena Williams' performance tennis at this old age.... Sleeping with her coach, winning all the tournaments...it is not serious...saying that Maria works too much...it is so naive...because people already know the truth... Serena must write a book about it like André Agassi who told us the truth

Patrick M.: My tennis player Serena has a very HUGE ass, I have checked it with my hands....

"I'd love to open a tennis school for children in my hometown of Sochi." said Sharapova Maria.

Hingis To Make Doubles Comeback Martina Hingis, who was just inducted into the International Tennis Hall Of Fame over the weekend, will begin her doubles comeback at the Southern California Open in Carlsbad in two weeks...

CARLSBAD, CA, USA - Martina Hingis, who was just inducted into the International Tennis Hall Of Fame in Newport over the weekend, has accepted a wildcard into the doubles draw of the Southern California Open in Carlsbad, scheduled for July 27 to August 4 at the Omni La Costa Resort & Spa.

Hingis will begin her doubles comeback partnering Daniela Hantuchova at the Premier-level event.

"I am very much looking forward to making a return to competitive play at the Southern California Open," Hingis said. "I remember winning the singles and doubles here in 1997 and winning the singles again in 1999. This has always been one of my favorite events to play. I feel in good shape at the moment after playing World Team Tennis. My competitive spirit is still very much alive and I love being out on court. The tournament at Onmi La Costa Resort & Spa is the perfect place for me to start."

Hingis, a nine-time Grand Slam champion and former No.1 in doubles, played her last three doubles events with Hantuchova, at Miami, Los Angeles and the US Open in 2007. She also has big success in Carlsbad, sweeping the singles and doubles in 1997 and winning the singles one more time in 1999.

"We are honored to have such a great champion choose to make the Southern California Open her first tournament back on tour," said Tournament Director Alastair Garland. "Having just been inducted into the Tennis Hall of Fame, it will be a true treat for the fans to enjoy watching Martina play doubles."

In addition to playing doubles, Hingis will spend time during the Southern California Open in Carlsbad promoting her new signature tennis collection - Tonic by Martina Hingis. The new clothing line from Tonic Lifestyle Apparel is the Official Clothing Partner of the Southern California Open.

Some updates about US Open 2013 :)

Top-ranked Serena Williams and her sister Venus are among five past champions getting direct entry into the U.S. Open women's main draw.

They're also two of 10 Americans in the provisional field, the most of any country.

The U.S. Tennis Association said Thursday that 100 of the top 102 in the WTA rankings are in the field. Serena Williams has won four of her 16 Grand Slam singles titles at Flushing Meadows, including last year, while Venus Williams won the tournament in 2000 and 2001.

Other past champions in the field are Maria Sharapova, Samantha Stosur and Svetlana Kuznetsova, along with two-time Australian Open winner Victoria Azarenka and recent Wimbledon champion Marion Bartoli.

The hard-court tournament begins Aug. 26, with the women's final scheduled for Sunday, Sept. 8.

Interesting !! Must be more than just travelling issues. Moderator therefor removed the topic. Personally I think Thomas was sick and tired of Maria taking too much time off to stay with Grigor . Soon you will see him again as coach of a top 20 player ( Ana ).
