My heart i lost to Maria when she won from Venus Williams serveral years ago.
I guess 12 years ago. That was superb tennis. I have never felt it like that way watching.
Schoulder-shit. Back in the Top3, almost 1 again. Totaly respect!

But we all know she belong on that top of the hill and rules the way how to beat an opponent.

Serena? pffft haha

Will always support her, but...

I just wish she had developed her forecourt technique, in the way that williams has by playing doubles. Maria has always been a bit one-dimensional on court. Hit the ball hard and hope! Sometimes she is found out.

Who wins here? One of these Top-10-girls or an "OUTSIDER"(i don't think Williams will win)

History can repeat itself.  Wimbledon 2008:

Sharapova Gets Beaten at Wimbledon

26-Jun-2008

Russian Alla Kudryavtseva 154 Seed, claimed a massive Wimbledon upset by knocking out number three Seed and 2004 champion Maria Sharapova in the second round.

Sharapova, 21, was way off colour on Court One, losing 2-6 4-6 to record her worst Wimbledon performance.

The 20-year-old Kudryavtseva, ranked 154th in the world, has never won a WTA tournament and is in the third round at Wimbledon for the first time.

Sometimes it happens that a very strong tennis player is beaten by a weaker tennis player. A weaker tennis player can surpass himself or herself in a tennis match but he or she can't surpass himself or herself during all matches.

It was the case of Grigor Dimitrov who surpassed himself for Masha so he defeated Djokovic.

Serena Williams also lost to weaker tennis players...but her case is special...because I don't believe in her performance.

It happens, it is not the end of life.

Masha should continue to study her own game with her team, she need a plan of work...

New advice are welcome..

"I'd love to open a tennis school for children in my hometown of Sochi." said Sharapova Maria.

There's maybe 3 girls left who could beat Williams on their very best day,Lisicki,Kvitova and Bartoli. Unlikely any of them will though

One more day and Maria can finally go home, after being 2 month in Europe. Many points to win in the weeks to come but work to be done before the next tournaments. All in all do not forget that Maria is the winner against Serena after everything what has happened in the past weeks.

RISE AND SHINE MARIA !!!!!!!!

Awesome outfit Maria !!  Strange that Graf , Azarenka, Venus, Clijsters were not attending. Obviously it was not a "must " to be there. Good to see that Maria stayed in London.

Wowwww, Serena , you have regrets afterall !!  Look at the wet marks on your dress during your speech, hilarious.

Ps; Hi Maria , good flight back home. Need to get used my self to the fact that you are not 'living' in my own time zone anymore. Watching tennis the last 2 months was easy , as of now it will be night matches for me again. Have a great vacation and all the best during the hard court season.  Many points to win for the ranking. Good luck.

Will she be flying to her home in Manhattan Beach or going to Sweden to support her bf in Bastad? Probably the former I'm guessing. Her next appearance may be the ESPY awards on 17/7 then I'm assuming she'll play Stanford on 22/7
