You Beat me to it!! I am close enough to the elephant that I can feel it breathe. I fully believe in free
speech, but I have a concern that there are those on this forum who may be somewhat, shall we say, under-informed
and will lap up this swill like a puppy! There are so many posts on this and other forums that are mis-informed,
out of context and provide selected information, so as to provide the most drama and bolster their case.

All I can say without getting into a thesis, is "consider the source". The great state of the Texas. Where they
want a gun in every pocket! Including those of children!
You know, in research completed a few short years ago, it was discovered that Texas had a very large textbook
industry, including history textbooks. These textbooks, prepared so as to educate the untapped minds of the
young had been shipped all around the United States and to many parts of the world. They were found to have
been altered!! Yes, they had changed history to suit themselves. History had been altered to display the
southern states, and particularly Texas, in the best light possible.
Remember, the only thing worse than no education is a bit of education. Don't be swayed by a single article
with one point of view. Do your research.
