I'm pulling for Novak & China-girl too. But I want to say somethig about the Vika issue. This is in NO way an apology, 'cause I found her antics absurd.

How often have they condoned Serena throwing herself to to the court screaming like a banshee when she was in a tight spot? Then minutes later playing like a champ?  


Appears like it's okay for a Yankee pet to pull the wooly-wooly, but a dirty trick when they get it back.


It IS interesting they've apparently scrapped the "Arizona Vickie" fairy-tale and now regard Vika as evil as they see anyone else from the Near Abroad.  At least now we KNOW she's not a defector.

Did not see what happened at the end of the match but this is typical Azarenka. How often have we not seen that all of a sudden she has a problem. YEC last year against Maria and also Rome 2011 against Maria. Poor sportmanship and it will be good if she get's a smack in the face.

Aw, y'know... phony injury 'all. Mainly, she stalled off court for ten minutes to leave Sloane cooling her heels. EVERYBODY knows how that works. If Sloane doesn't, she better learn.  


Poor sportsmanship, sure. It's bullsh!t for Vika to do that -- BUT it's also bullsh!t when Serena pulls it & the media flacks make excuses.

What can i say....

When you're meant to win, you're meant to win. First Serena's injuries/shock loss to Sloane. Then Maria plays a shocker. Her two biggest rivals sent packing before the final

Then poor Li, falls over numerous times during the final, sprains her ankle, hits her head on the plexicushion (which i walked on two weeks ago in sydney, that stuff is NOT cushion like, AT ALL - more like cement).

Congrats to whats-her-face for winning back to back AO's. Now i'm off to vomit.

Also, the cow retains #1, whereas Manrena moves up to #2. Maria is #3, about 2000 pts ahead of Aga. Li should move to #5 i believe.

Li wants blood the next time they meet, you can count on it. We haven't seen the last of her at the business end of majors, i expect she'll do very well at the French

Azarenka won Aoustralian Open again! She lost first set to Li but after that she came back to the game and finally won, 4-6  6-4  6-3!

Well Brebis you got it half wrong again..... I hope Jocko is in good shape otherwise your prediction will be shit again. 


But regarding the ladies there's not really anything to worry about.  We may not see Serena again before the European clay court season since she has a title to defend....after that maybe Wimbledon.  So in the meantime Maria has every opportunity to get her number two spot back.   So all in all, no real damage has been done...except to Maria's ego.   Loooooooooserrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Good, i for once agree with you Philli. Maria  seemed like a cocky bi*** these past two weeks in her press conferences. I dunno what it is. Less ego, more hitting balls and working on fitness. The GS's will come if she spent more time on the practice court and LISTENED to Thomas, rather than being stubborn. 


I don't expect much from her till the clay court season, i never thought i'd say this, but her game is so much better suited for it now, rather than faster hardcourts/grass. She's too slow, and has nothing to counter the Serena's/Petra's/Li's/Lisicki's when they're on their game other than hitting the ball harder.


Hopefully she proves me wrong.

Oh and before i forget, because i will...

Vika did a little double fisted Ivanovic come on in the second set. Does this girl have no originality whatsoever? Her post match thanking of the crowd is so Maria like...... she sickens me.


Lets hope Novak can win tomorrow night, i will cry myself to sleep if Murray wins....... Vika and Murray winning will make me cringe

Let me just remind you Philli ,that Azarenka did not meet a top 20 player ( yes really ) untill the final. Unbelievable but true. No , she will never ever win the hart's of the tennis spectators. That's why she was crying her eyes out. For being so stupid in the SF and for not being a star !

Vichka (so her shoes read) is not a particularly likable person.  But, y'know... neither was Justine Heinin (also a little sportsmanship-challenged.)  A champion doesn't need to be popular.
