Like I said lefty is no longer an issue, Bravo maria!!!!


Makarova commented very positively for Maria, the way she palyed yesterday so that's a great news. But I still think that she made too many DFs. Her first serve is still not as GREATas I want it to see, good but not great if you know what I mean.

Well done Maria through to the SF again. Li will be more competitive than Makarova no doubt. Maria can do it! Bring it on!

Come on guys! Yes, Maria didn't play impressive against Makarova but she will beat Na Li! Be sure, I believe that Maria will beat Li! Maybe it becomes difficult match for Maria, but she will beat Li!

Well I hate to agree, I did watch the match and although Maria was pretty dominant there are moments that if you don't play at the same consistency thru the whole match, it will cost you, I guess i have the same concern as everybody else, this matches have being kind of warm up for Masha, she hasn't had a serious and hard opponent, I mean Venus yeah sort of but she is not what she used to be anymore....I have faith in Masha thou and well, she is better than all of the current tennis players, when she is focus and agressive she can beat anybody...and when she gets the first serve in....I like her wicked serves that have that curvy effect.:-)

It's confirmed, I watched few matches from last year and this year and did a comparison between Maria 2012 vs 2013 @ AO and there is NO DOUBT at all that Maria is playing much much better today.

I have to admit I was a bit disappointed in the beginning of the match, double faults and not as strong as her previous matches, but she seems to always bring things back up as the match goes on, so not much to worry! 


Li Na is next, tougher match, but I know Masha can win!! :)

I REPEAT, THE MAN IS OUT

What a match by young Sloane. Top 10 by the end of the year. You heard it here first folks. Now on to tomorrow's match. Maria can't underestimate Li, she's playing with a shitload more confidence now that Carlos is her coach. I expect a good match, and Maria MUST come out all guns blazing or her 2013 AO campaign will be over. Now with Serena out, she's a massive shot of winning her 5th GS, and she must take the opportunity.

WOW. Serena Williams OUT of the AO. Certainly got more interesting now. 


Sloane Stephens actually played quite well, even though Serena was injured, she still deserves some credit there.  (And kudos to Serena for handling the loss with sportsmanship at the end!) 


Wonder how things will turn out now. I have no idea who I would root for, in tomorrow's semi, Stephens or Azarenka? 


Going to look forward to watching the matches tomorrow!

No surprise for me, that win of young Sloane Stephens. Two days ago they talked about

the "new young generation" concerning the match Jovanovski/Stephens and their great

qualities. Confirmation of this today and more to come. Time for the "sissies" to hang

that raquet up and quit the courts. It's GAME OVER now !!!
