Sharapova Opens Twitter Account


MOSCOW, January 14 (R-Sport) - Russian tennis star Maria Sharapova is finally taking to Twitter after years of loyalty to rival social network Facebook.


Unsurprisingly, the first tweet of the world No. 2, who cruised into the second round of the Australian Open earlier Monday, was a commercial linked to her new line of candy.


"Your ultimate sugarmama has arrived #myfirsttweet," said the fashion icon, whose cover picture shows her glancing back from the wheel of a classic car.


An hour after her first tweet the 25-year-old Sharapova, sport's highest female earner in 2012, had racked up more than 7,600 followers.


Since 2010 Sharapova has been posting video and text updates on Facebook, where she has 9.2 million "likes."


 


 

"I'd love to open a tennis school for children in my hometown of Sochi." said Sharapova Maria.

Maria Sharapova: It's safe to say that this scarf is currently my ultimate fashion obsession, snow or sunshine. It's the perfect fabric, color, and size. What is your current must have?


Dartagnan: No it is not always safe to wear a long scarf. 


A Long scarf is always beautifull but we have to be carefull with it. 


For example the dancer, Isadora Duncan has been killed by her own long scarf caught in her car's wheel 


It is just a remark about the danger of a long scarf. 


"FOREWARNED IS FOREARMED"


Forewarned is forearmed is something that you say which means that if you know about something before it happens, you can avoid it.
