That was.... boring

Basically a training drill for Masha, she barely broke a sweat. Don't expect the same walk in the park if she does manage to meet Venus in the 3rd round.

Impressive I would say !! The serve is her danger against Venus. It needs to work well otherwise she is out !!!!!!

Another easy match for Maria! 6-0 6-0 again! The match time was less than 50 minutes!

But I think the most unbelievable news for today is Stosur's losing! Zheng played very well and beat Stosur in her own country! So one of the WTA top players goes out of AO!

No surprise Stosur is out , as she has never performed well in Australia.  Pressure, pressure.  By the way; Great to see some tennis with 10 cm of snow outside my house and -4 degrees C.

wow what can i say.... i was hoping to catch some of that match in the morning but Masha was so fast to close it that by the time i woke up it was all over...

Well if that isnt impressive (2 consecutive 6-0 6-0 games) when you dont have any tune up matches at all, i dont know what is.

Yes, we do know hat happened but it's a new year and new rounds. Venus is great on her return and Maria's serve is not that impressive yet. Had hope for improvement over the off season. Just read they meet in a Grand Slam for the first tme since.........................2007 !! Couldn't belief my eyes. We are talking about top players in the women's game and not met for years. Let's see what that match will bring . I say it's 60-40 for Maria.

Venus is a tough opponent. It's going to be a heavy rally. Maria serve must be perfect and HIT well from the baseline as well.

Maria showing very impressive form so far, but Venus scares the bejesus out of me at this point in the tournament. It is what it is and hopefully Maria is up to this task. This will be her first real challenge of the season, depending of course on whether Venus shows up in decent form. Venus has looked pretty good so far, so i think it will be a very tough match for Maria, who hasn't faced any adversity yet this year, but then nether has nether has Venus. It will probably be a night match on Rod Laver, which sucks for me because it will be hard for me to watch. If she makes it past Venus, the sailing looks much easier again. Good luck Masha!!! Just do it!

After two easy matches now it's time for a real and tough match against Venus! If Maria concentrates on her serves and plays with more confidence, she will beat Venus easily!

I believe that Maria will beat Venus!

 No need to worry about Maria's shoulder.. I'm convinced it was all fake and just an excuse to get out of Brisbane.  She went straight to Melbourne and a couple of days later...when she should have been playing...she was out doing a shoot and making appearences and preparing Sugapova for its launch. 


But...WTA insist on an excuse or you get fined around 10 grand.  Did you see in the earlier interview...She sent her injury to Doctor X in the USA by Email....how did she do that?  He diagnosed the Email and told her not to play...clever.  


Photoshoots are not arranged in a couple of days, they are planned months in advance.   I get tired of reading all her lies.  guess I should just stop reading them.

As your health is not that good, doctor XBrebis advices you to stay away from this forum and not to read any articles about Maria anymore. Only that way you will reach the age of 100 years.

Serena you don't fool me. If I look at today's match, I do see a selfish over trained body builder. I just don't trust it if you look at Serena's body. Remember Armstrong..................it will all come out one day.
