From what point of view, Paul? When you're ranked Number 2 you shouldn't expect any favours for a cakewalk. Know what they say....'If you can't stand the heat.....'

The Usual--except it hasn't been typical for China before now:

All Russians except Petrova set up to self-eliminate in one half of one quarter.

Gonna sing the "just happened that way.." bullsh!t?

Nadezhda's first opponent is Li Na and they hope Cibulkova will knock out Shvedova--otherwise THEY may meet. Intention is to get rid of all but one or two Russians by the Round of 16.

Looks like pure WTA cold war stitch-up to me--about as bogus as US Presidential "debates". lol

OTOH it's not that surprising; a mighty warriorprincess(pun NOT intended:)has THE FORCE ALWAYS WITH HER !!!

@Machete; yeah, agree on the above. Seems those WTA-witches try harder and harder...oh well

"the harder they fall" is better then "it just happened"....ДАВАЙ Маша!!! ДАВАЙ РОССИЯ!!!

I don´t know, kirilenko, then wozzy, after that aga and as a cherry on the cake li na. What´s the problem?

Or maybe i don´t doubt Marias´ability to win against the above mentioned opponents as much as you guys do

Well anyhow, if i get my way, i´m looking forward to a match up between Maria and Li Na, that would be a match worth seing. After the Rome final, which dragged out for hours, i´ve comed to enjoy their meetings.

Besides that i´m just looking forward to see Marias´first match, and let´s take it from there, nothing else make sense

Have a great week-end everybody

It's not about Masha, sunstreet. It's about the WTA's rigged draws jamming all the Russians together to self-elimnate in early rounds. And insulting our intelligence by insisting the same thing "randomly" occurs it now seems like in at least every other tournament

Looking at the 'arrival picture' of Maria in China, I do not have high hopes ! The team doesn't look very happy. I do not see the usual Maria. Not sure what is wrong but the long season might get to her. Think we will not receive any face book news, as the Chinees governement locks off website / face book use. Do they call themselves a democracy ?

Yes. Beijing always gives four byes--to the winner, finalist & two losing semifinalists of Tokyo--those who have had to work most recently. Maria was a quarterfinalist.

Or maybe it´s about you trying to force your own oppinion down my throath!!

I´ve said what i had to say about the subject of rigged torunaments in earlier posts, and i´m not about to repeat myself.

Maybe you should go for a long walk, get some fresh air and gain some perspective on things,-

or if you can´t do that then at least show some respect toward other people.

You don´t own this forum, neither do i, but i do deserve some respect instead of some troll jumping at my throat.

GOT IT LITTLE BOY.

What is your problem? Nobody "jumped down your throat".

You wanna ralk the WTA corporate trash, fine--just don't expect anybody with eyes or brain to believe you.

The SINA stream is quite nice http://live.video.sina.com.cn/room/tennis

Altogether on the centre court. There ARE some interruptions, but when it's flowing, it's really good.

Western so-called "democracies" are goin' down on all levels(economy, work, luxury and many more).

As good "Middle Agers" politicians try to calm down the disaster and the storm that's coming with

good old RACISM(works every time with Islam)and pointing fingers(Russia & China of course; greatest worldpowers

of the moment). We can see this so very clear and present on ALL levels but u will have ALWAYS those "blind"

i do pity. As i said before, Europe & US u can call from now on "TITANIC II"...

Petrova Stuns Radwanska for Tokyo Title

Petrova Stuns Radwanska for Tokyo Title

Oh my God !!! The "radioactive trophy" has been win by Petrova.

Nadia Petrova defeated world No. 3 Agnieszka Radwanska on Saturday to win the $2 million Japan Open, the biggest title of her career. A lot of money for a "radioactive trophy"

At least you could cure yourself with the help of this money, if something happens to your health.

"I'd love to open a tennis school for children in my hometown of Sochi." said Sharapova Maria.
