The first set of Maria Sharapova at her last match was perfect 6 1 but the second was not 7 5.


Anyway the result is good

Dartagnan: Svetlana Kuznetsova hasn't told her last word yet. She will play the roland garros quarter final against Serena Williams. I think she is the one who knew how to defeat Serena Williams. 


Svetlana is a great tennis fighter...and a winner of Roland Garros trophy

It is a pity that Maria Sharapova only won the "mirror" of the real trophy. 


That means Maria Sharapova should continue to keep a very high level in tennis for next victories.

Some nice photos from RG 2013


The terre battue was being swept off the lines...


The towels were being laid on the changeover chairs...


The players were getting their hits in...


And the net posts were being tightened...


It was May in Paris, time for the most grueling Grand Slam event on the calendar - Roland Garros.


Maria Sharapova had conquered the clay court Grand Slam in 2012, and she looked sharp in Week 1.


But there was another player who dominated Week 1, and it was persistent, tennis-ruining rain.


A congregation of alligators rushed for the exits too.


Some fans waited it out, though...


But a wet Week 1 set up a gorgeous Week 2.


And Sharapova also had some stern tests, going to three against Jelena Jankovic and Victoria Azarenka.


While others showed they still have a lot of life left in them, pushing the top stars to the limit.


There was also a battle of tennis bags - first, Sharapova...


Sharapova would end up reaching her eighth Grand Slam final, and first as a defending champion.
