According to London Evening Standard Maria wedding will take place on 10th November in Istanbul.

This picture and article dated July 3 is and old article published in march. The London Evening standar is a tabloid.


Serena made those remarks about not havin a date at the same time in March.


Something happened between her victory at the FO and Wimbledon, she was wearing her engagement ring holding the FO cup, after that she has not been wering the ring.


I speculate that the lovers quarrel had something to do with her early exit at Wimbledon.

What Maria said was that she was posponing her marriage after her retirement from tennis.

If it is not from here . the official web then it is most likely tabloid material , I don't believe in that . I think that Maria surely wants to keep a lid on her private life but I believe she'll tell the fans at least about the wedding . I don't know how Marriage will effect her Tennis career , most likely she won't be able to focus 100% on Tennis if she got married

I don't think she'll retire after marriage or at any time soon because she love this game way too much and she said after winning her grand slam that she still has MANY MANY years to go and she's not going to stop here.

She hasn't worn her engagement ring in quite some time and she has taken some posed photos in which her ring finger is featured prominently. It seems that she has announced to the world that her engagement is off without actually making a public statement.

I'm sure everything is fine. Sasha's beard contract expired and now IMG and Nike are probably searching for a new faux boyfriend for Maria.
