Dont get me wrong...I love watching one of the best all-time tennis players ever... Beautiful tennis technique & so much determination...my issue is with Maria's vocal noise, grunts, etc...during play.
It is SO annoying to us as viewers & must be extremely distracting to her opponents-perhaps an early coaching technique?!

So, I congratulate her win in Stuttgart & wish her all the best- maybe she still has time to control the "noise' so I can watch an entire match in the future...

The voice is the part of Masha's game, I don't think she will change it. Her voice gives her power when she shoots a ball at the speed of 185 km/h. I think she started using her voice a long time ago with her frist coach in the usa. But Masha has improved her tennis, her tennis becomes efficient against many strong opponents. It is very important.

"I'd love to open a tennis school for children in my hometown of Sochi." said Sharapova Maria.

Once in an interview Maria said, that some players use their voice and other players don't.

I don't care at all, this is her personal way of playing!

Most important is the game!

All the discussions about using voive or not are useless in my opinion!

Maria's grunts are not annoying if anything they are pretty amusing and it's something that she has been doing since she started tennis, so like she said "I don't see any reason to change."
