Yes MiniMasha12. I know Masha played against Spain but what about now? This is Semi Final! Masha is Russia champion!

Russia will play against Serbia! Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic play in Serbia.

Can Elena Vesnina beat Jankovic or Ivanovic??!!

Russia Fed Cup Duty REVOLVES as always.

This is the final opportinity to qualify possible Olympic nominees.

Masha was already qualified. Kiri & Vesnina each needed to play one more tie.

Now there will be eight qualified nominees. Only six are needed. Team Russia will be injury-proof

Yes it will. Team of the Serbian friends is potentially equal with Russia's.

TEAM NOMINATIONS - Serbia

    • Ana IVANOVIC

    • Date of birth: 06 Nov 1987

    • Singles ranking: 14

  • <%=PlayerFullName %>

    • Jelena JANKOVIC

    • Date of birth: 28 Feb 1985

    • Singles ranking: 20

  • <%=PlayerFullName %>

    • Bojana JOVANOVSKI

    • Aleksandra KRUNIC

    • Date of birth: 15 Mar 1993

    • Singles ranking: 193

  • Team captain Dejan VRANES

Completeing Olympic qualification had to take precedence, but I'm sure Tarpischev does not treat wining this yeat's Cup as incidental.

Take heart. Individually , consistency of the Serbs is certainly as questionable as any of the Russians.

Don't expect many straight sets rubbers.

In sport all your friends are your opponents and you have to be ready to defeat them.

Kirilenko and Kuznetsova is a good association for a double match.

They can be very dangerous together for opponents.

I guess all depends on a very good Kiri; she can wrap in OLIVE and Ana. I think Shamil's "magic"

will work once more. NEVER TWO WITHOUT THREE:)....DAVAI TEAM RUSSIA...kick those Serbian bitches back home...

You know Shamil.  Tarpischev is like as not to swap them around after day one.

I've got stuff to do in the morning & may miss the first day.  But I'll see the girls on Sunday.

At first day Anastasia lost against Jankovic but Kuznetsova won against Ivanovic. Each 2 games was a tough match

specially Anastasia's match. Anastasia played well at set1 but in set2 she lost points specially serv points and she

made alot of mistakes.

However, I hope that Russia beat Serbia!!

Kiri does not play doubles either. Clearly, she is not fit--explaining Shamil's decision.
