Porsche Tennis Grand Prix Beach Tennis

Has anybody ever heard of or played beach tennis? I found out about it last week when I was looking at the Porsche Tennis Grand Prix website. How does the tennis ball bounce on the sand? And wouldn't it be diffiult to move fast? You can see here:

We LOVE checking out Beach Tennis whenever we get a chance.  Ot has become very beig in Russia! lol


The BALL is only partially inflated but an object is to take it in the air. Ideally, much vollying. It IS difficult to move fast.

I could be wrong, don't know the rules that well, but I THINK it may be dead & the side that sent it over scores. BT was conceived as a fusion of tennis with beach volleyball.
