Maybe all the fans already know this, but I still wanted to ask is the necklace Maria wears on every match her amulet? And when where did she get it?

I'm not the next anyone, I'm the first Maria Sharapova.

It is Masha's Russian Bapistmal Cross.

Maria Sharapova:   "I got this at my baptism when I was 4 years old. It's from my parents and makes me feel secure, so I wear it all the time."

"I'd love to open a tennis school for children in my hometown of Sochi." said Sharapova Maria.

Orthodox Christians are celebrating Christ’s Entry into Jerusalem this Sunday. On this day, the Patriarch of Moscow and All Russia Kirill conducts a Divine Liturgy at the Cathedral of Christ the Savior.

This holiday, also known as Palm Sunday, commemorates the day in the life of Christ, when, mounted on a donkey, He rode into Jerusalem, and the entire city turned out to greet him.

As it says in the Gospel, people took off their upper garments, strewing His path with them and palm fronds.

On this day traditionally believers take branches of pussywillow to church for consecration. They symbolize palm fronds, used to welcome the entry of Jesus into Jerusalem before his crucifixion.

Yeah, I knew this, I'm Orthodox Christian too ;)
I just wanted to know where and from whom she got that and if it's her amulet :)

Thanks!
