Even during the II world war, the composer, Rachmaninov from Russia who lived in the USA, helped the URSS to win the II world war, by buying to his country weapons and food. It is a feeling you can't destoy in Russian people because they are not treacherous. Russian people have a heart and a feeling for their country.
