Just "free-lance"-journalist, kat. The word "free" means a lot to me and not just in the movieworld.

That last HP they filmed all at once and cut it into 2 parts(think millions of $$$$$ more). Must say

there's more action in this 2hours then in the whole franchise and also very dark(gothic). Enjoy the movie.

My favorite is "HP and the prisoner of Azkaban". Not by coincidence the least moneymaker 'cos director CUARON

made it an intelligent and somewhat "complicated" pic...the kids didn't take it though...says it all i think.

"Colombiana" with Zoe Saldana is a good, fast and hard one in the line of "Man on Fire"/"Nikita".

If u wanna travel back in time to Spielbergian stuff like "E.T." meets "The Goonies" then "SUPER 8" is the one.

Of course lots of superheroes on the move like "Captain America", "Green Lantern" and many more.

I'm curious what they did with the reboot of "The Planet of the Apes". Always liked our primates in their

destructionwork:)...Enjoy the movie.

If anyone here likes horror classics, then I would recommend Italian movie "Phenomena" by Dario Argento,it is brilliant, with young Jennifer Connelly

p.s. if you like so called "floods of blood",then you can enjoy "Hobo with a shotgun" starring Rutger Hauer and surprisingly,at the end of the film there goes the song "Run with us" by Lisa Lougheed, theme to 90s " The Raccoons" animated tv series

p.p.s. For drama fans: watch "Rabbits hole",it is worth watching

Asaruto gâruzu (2009)(ASSAULT GIRLS (+sequel)
The intrinsic value of people's enthusiasm is unshackled by the context of a real or fictional environment. So long as the world accords recognition for the applied fulfillment of this enthusiasm, it stands that people would not lose touch with their own reality. Reality, being the foundation of an individual's conventional wisdom, is a degree of experience that belongs to that single person. Hence, any such individual reality can be perceived by others as nothing more than mere imagination...(from Greatmaster-moviemaker OSHII MAMORU's "Assault Girls").

Oshii's "sequel" to the cultmovie "AVALON" with domination of philosophy over action as always...A MUST!!!!

Damn, i can't see all that "superhero"-shit anymore. "Cpt. America" wasn't that bad though;
NOT that patriotic as the comics and other movies, more "old-fashion"-entertainment like "Indiana Jones" y'know?
But all those others from the "house of Marvel" are quite a bore; and why do they have to produce trilogies.
I have enough with one "THOR" or one "Iron Man", don't need a triple version(one would think one has a glass too
many and i only drink water). So next year the whole bunch in a SUPER-SUPERHEROPRODUCTION..."The Avengers"....duck
and cover if you're not a teenager that is:)

I agree. "Prisoner of Azkaban" and this last part are the best of the whole franchise...lots of action,

surprises and a real good showdown(made me think at the laserfights in "Star Wars").

I can recommend "MELANCHOLIA" by Lars von Trier with a splendid Kirsten Dunst(she got a price in Cannes).

Kirsten is obviously von Triers' alter-ego in full depression in this "end-of-the-world"-tale. Lars takes

no prisoners; we're all doomed or as Kirsten says it so well, "Earth can go on without humans"...i agree:)

The new "ALMODOVAR" is out, "La Piel Que Habito". Looks like a "thriller" but inside it's good old

Pedro and his fantasms about sex, violence, women and other "strange" relations you'll find. Finally

those stupid yankee-blockbusters make way for real good and intelligent European cinéma!!

I ve been watching a lot of horrors and thrillers recently,so, I can recommend "I spit on your grave" with Sarah Butler, remake of an old classic "Day of the woman"

another remake of an old Wes Craven hit "Last house from the left"

Thriller " Unknown" with Liam Neeson and Diane Kruger

Wes Craven and his "Scream - 4 "

And one good Spanish thriller " los ojos de Julia'/ "The eyes of Julia "with Spanish actress Belen Rueda giving great perfomance

I admire your choices in the domain of the "fantasy & horror"; u pick ou the goodies Nazar.

"Julia's eyes" was on the last BIFFF here in Brussels and one of my favorites. U should see that

great Belen Rueda in "The Orphanage" also produced by Spanish "hellboy" Guillermo del Toro. If u have

time take a look at this : www.bifff.net (20 years i attend that fest considered as one of the best in the world).

"Unknown" is a typical Bessonproduction; fast-action, carchases and bloody kills:). "TAKEN 2" is on

it's way and u should see "La Colombiana" with a super-sexy-hot-blooded Zoe Saldana as a "Nikita"-twin

with a serious vengeance...WOW...

Think good ol' Wes is tired. Didn't like his "4th scream" at all; don't see WHY???...keep the good work up man!!

Bad news for all the XXX-moviedicks. Some cases of HIV detected in Cali and they take no risks...

stopped all productions. Those guys use their heads from time to time; girls head on hold.

The stupid summermovies are behind us and time for the serious work. First at festivalia like Venice,

the oldest but greatest of them all in quality AND quantity...Deauville honors the US-Indies and in Ghent

"music in film" is the main theme. TWO ABSOLUTE MUSTS when they'll be out in a theater near you :

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1571222/ (Cronenberg goes down on Freud and Jung and the pschycho-analyse of Keira

Knightley....yeahhhh) and the new Polanski, "(God of) Carnage"(it's all in the title) or "Carnage"(US-European names) http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1692486/

No, playbill for a Broadwayshow/theater or the magazine itself. Know that face, must be somebody

important or maybe the play is. Could be a Russian actress?
