Ruyman caught a little of the Rus match but all most of us saw was the match against Makarova. I thought Maria played better--even slid somewhat!

There was no broadcast of the Cibulkova match. As the scores & stats came in, we could only figure she was making beaucoup errors. DFs were no biggie and her first serve % was fine--but Cib won all the first serve points!
