It fits right into a date slot which prevents her from Playing Stuttgart. An ideal excuse. Get it through your head, Maria is lazy and doesn't like playing too many tournaments, especially tough ones if she can avoid it.

Business, is what this is. You notice she's playing with Gisela Dulko again? Maybe the same interests that promoted their South American exos a couple years ago.


Everyone here has heard of the venue. The "Atlantis" resort has had regular US TV advertising since it opened.

By the way, what will be Maria's next tournament before Roland Garros? She'll play in Madrid right? Is that her only clay court warm up? Or she'll also play in Rome and defend her Strasbourg title?

she shouldn't play there they have alow prize money and points playing madrid and rome is enough of course if she goes deep

i would like to see her playing Rome...it's a nice tournament and traditional

and, about the exo, i think it's a form to test her skills on clay (i think that match it's gonna be on clay, rss)

Here are a couple videos of the event in the Bahamas. While watching the exhibition match, I was amazed at how quiet (relatively speaking, of course) Sharapova was. Why can't she play like that all the time?
