Je suis né à Liège d'un père Hasseltois et d'une mère Liégeoise. Ma langue maternelle est le Français mais je me débrouille assez bien en Néerlandais(cela évite de devoir sous-titrer mes propos chez les Bataves) tout en savourant l'humour Brusseleir. Je suis docteur en sciences retraité. Et toi, qui es-tu et de quelle région de notre petite Belgique que quelques crétins flamingants tentent de disloquer? Moi je suis sous le charme de la personne de Justine qui a évolué très positivement depuis sa séparation. Elle est devenue beaucoup plus extravertie et plus aisée dans ses contacts (son kiné dit d'ailleurs que c'est là la vraie personnalité de Justine). Elle bosse extrêmement dur avec pour résutat une évolution que personne ne peut contredire. Je lui avais envoyé un message en lui disant qu'elle aussi devait jouer "pour les Williams" afin qu'ils apprennent ce que représente l'humilité. Elle a merveilleusement répondu à cette attente. J'étais à 70 % sûr du résultat car j'avais déjà constaté que Venus avait une condition physique qui s'éteignait lors de matchs perdurant plus de 90 min. Le match a démontré sans équivoque ce constat. Notre Justine a, outre ses qualités tennistiques et sa force de caractère, une résistance physique hors du commun. C'est vraiment une athlète capable de s'aligner sur des courses de 100 m mais en sus répétées un nombre incroyable de fois. Cela dit je dois avouer que Venus a été bien plus fairplay que sa soeur, petite comme elle l'appelle, oui mais surtout petite dans le sens mesquin. C'était vraiment un super match hier soir, non ? Un des plus beaux que je range avec celui joué contre Capriati en 2001 (si je me rappelle bien)

her dominion aint as steady as Federers. Still she clearly predominates over the other players.

She is the closest thing, just watching her play when she is playing her best.. gives me chills.  Ever just watch her footwork?  It's like shes walking on air.  

My favorite women's tennis player by far.  Maria, I admire for her heart and her ability.. but I doubt she would ever be able to hit as perfectly as Justine or be able to have the footwork Justine has.  Partially because she is so tall, you can have speed, power or hight but rarely can you have all 3.  With Justine she seems to be able to do it all... and very well.

Well said! And Justine has worked very hard to be at this level. I also have to give her coach a credit as well. I think he has done an amazing job with Justine ! BRAVO!!


I truly believe that it takes a great team led by a good coach to be successful!


She will remain #1 and untouchable until other players adapt and get help from a true and experienced coach!! Not by their father!!! C’MON YOU CAN’T BE SERIOUS!!!!

What could be determining for a top player is the intelligence and the sens of fast reply to unpredictable situation. Such parameter gives a lot of advantage to Justine. Sorry but someone lost such aspect. Another one is the ability to train in the way to improve your performance. That's another point which gives to Justine a second advantage to any other actual player. The capability to adapt to an advise which could improve your skill. Imagine you have a very good coach. Do you think you could copy Justine at such level ? I doubt.

Have you guys seen Justine on "No Strings" ?  She is a tennis machine, running everyday, training.. more training..and the relationship she has with her coach obviously helps a lot.

I don't think anyone can be like her, just like no one can be Roger Federer... you're either a champion or your not.   You can be great at tennis but you can tell the difference between skill (Williams sisters) and a Champion like Federer and Henin.

well,I admit that Henin is best player now [:(] , unbeatable and has many powerful points to defeats any player even top10 BUT I still realy don't like her from the first time I saw her.
