You easily would not, even though she came back from injury and has played regularly since the beginning of the European clay season. She won the Istanbul Cup but, as I as I know, that was only broadcast on CNN Turk.


You think about it, making quarterfinals or even semis doesn't guarantee air time. Scheduling and where cameras are located on multiple courts usually cut her out. She's one of those players you most often see when she plays one of the top "stars" because the cameras are on them. Like, her only ESPN coverage in the States was when she played Maria at LA.


Elena is one reason I troll constantly for webcam feeds. Some of her Warsaw and Berlin matches were online, Tennis Channel site streamed a couple of her Roland Garros matches, etc. (The Wimbledon site has her 2006 match with Maria as a free 600+ meg download)


Now that I've found access to Eurosport online streams, I can see her and others more often. [H]
