well well,it's realy good news dude,so the trophy will stay in the Russian hands,I'll say amen.
Big amen to that, yes. [;)] Oh, I don't doubt that at least one Williams would be back on the squad later in the year. But that assumes that Lindsay and coach Mary Jo Fernandez (with a home court advantage) can marshal Team USA to defeat the Germans. Right now, I'm not holding my breath for even that.
Maybe we'll know more when the American sports press chooses to report it -- beyond a passing mention from AP's London Bureau! ROFL Or not, heh-heh. This is why I've been saying Davenport was pulled back from retirement for the Olympic year.
Venus is visibly injured. (She lost the first set to Ivanovic; Ana did not win it. In fact, Ana didn't really wake up and comprehend she had a chance to win until she was down 0-3 in the second set. Weird.)
Serena has had another mental meltdown. I've been expecting this for the last six months and here it is. [:P]
lol Always nice and cute when you talk about Serena......[:P]
I totally agree about Venus. Ivanovic didn't win, - earn, call it whatever u want - much of anything in that match...
P.S. , i know it's irrelevant, but Ivanovic is much "luckier" in her draws in the Slams so far. She's probably gonna reach the final - 2nd in her career, and both times it should've been Jankovic. Maybe when Serena was asked who she thinks is overrated, she should've given a different name. At least we would agree on sth then................[:P]
