Björn Borg is a wonderful player, but I had to go with Martina. She has amazing talent and has 9 Wimbeldon titles to prove it. Maria will one day get around there, if not higher, I know it.

I pick Sampras. One of the best players of all time. I'm a big fan of McEnroe as well but he was before my time.

Steffi Graf
She held the #1 spot for 186 weeks. That record has yet to be surpassed by any man or women.
She has 7 Wimbledon titles.
She was the only player to win all 4 Grand Slams in 1988

I picked Sampras, he's the one I've watched the most playing. For the others I was a bit too young or not even born.

I chose Martina Navratilova.

9 Wimbeldon titles
1,670 singles matches played over 31 years, winning 1,400+ of 'em.

Just got to give a, in 2000, 44 year old tennis player to make a comeback to the sport props.

Graf and McEnroe are my favorites. Loved J-mac's temper tantrums on court, it made it entertaining. Graf played such good tennis over a pretty long period of time. It'll be tough for ANYBODY to ever pass her record for GS titles for a very long time.

Chrissy for sure, I think she is great... Navrat of course is a legend & I will always have so much respect for her, & she is pretty cool too... Graf kind rubbed me the wrong way for some reason! :?

I like what Kurnikova does on court. I'm not talking about her game, becouse I' will be criticized harshly. I still like her drama , flash and dance.I really miss not seing her on tv.I would stay up till 4 in the morning if I knew she was playing here on American channels.Legends??? I prefer trend setters and havoc causing women. AHHAHAHA

I loved all these players but if I had to pick one it would J-Mac because of his legendary tantrums on court.

One player that should maybe be on there is Ivan Lendl - in 1982 he won 15 tournaments and had a win-loss of 106-9 - Federer by comparison might be able to win 12 tournaments this year if he wins in Paris and Shanghai.

OIh yeah she was unbelievable - won 5 in a row at one stage - all of 1988 and then the 1989 Australian Open. She won 7 of the 8 grand slams in 1988/89 - that was before Seles gave her a few headaches but then she came back and won 6 of the 8 grand slams in 1995/96. Retired at 30 with 22 grand slams - incredible.
