A lot of things have been said, why don't we put them all together? I go first.
Maria Sharapova have said herself that she doesn't really watch male tennis, better said: She couldn't care less who wins the male part of the tournament, also, considering her Father's mood I don't think she has a lot of freedom with the guys, especially on tournament period, another pretty interesting stuff is that as a playe and rich person, she could virtually get any single ticket/spot in any of the spaces in the stadium.
I think that it's some sort of rebelion, just as if she's sending a message like:"hey, I'm not a teen girl anymore, guess what? I can date boys". She came out of the box! [:P]
But what if...what if she doesn't like Roger? Sending the message:"hmmm, see, you've win enough already...why don't let this hot guy wins to change...?"
In any case, it's really iinteresting her appearence there and as for the both parts denials, that's the way things start anyway between celebrities, they should be more like the rest and just accept their stuff..
What do you guys think? [:D]
i think she has something against roger
she did that for fun
That was a tantalizing collection of people in the box and at the party that followed, and not only Maria vis-a-vis Djokovic. I did think Maria associating herself with the Serbian player was interesting and positive. On the eve of her trip to Moscow, its actual plan then not yet announced, it could speak to a lot of things.
It was interesting how CBS covered her appearance there on Sep 9. First they did a tight-in shot of "Maria Sharapova 'in the stands'". You couldn't see where she was or who she was with. Then there was a good fifteen minutes of occasionally panning to the Djokovics with Di Niro and wife -- top of the frame cutting off all but Maria's legs behind and above them.
I guess word came down from the board room about how to spin or not spin the story because then they shot the entire entourage--Masha visibly well aware of the cameras. The anchor delivered some carefully-chosen words about Maria demonstrating "whose side she was on". One of the Three Witches started to spit inane venom about Maria's drop in ranking, but the anchor brushed that off and handled the story low-key. It was noted that she and the Di Niros were mutually involved in fashion events following (and fashion shows had been the stipulated reason she was going on to Moscow.)
It was a very interesting exercise.
Yeah she probably wanted people to know she was still around
"So won't you smile for the camera" http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZJ33N808wGA
Dont think I've ever seen her smiling on court during a game. She always trains her 'killer look' on her opponent and always looks pissed off.
Mind you this year, she's looked dazed quite a bit and somewhat confused.
That's called the "game face", duh. You may have heard about it once or twice... [:P]
