LAURA ROBSON has apologised to fellow pros for remarks she made about their love lives.
The 16-year-old former Junior Wimbledon champion's comments appear in July's edition of Vogue magazine.Robson said: "Some of the girls go with every guy and make such a bad name for themselves - and you don't want to be known for stuff like that. You want to be more discreet."
The WTA want a transcript of the interview and Robson added: "I'd just like to say sorry to anyone that I may have offended.
"I made an inappropriate, throwaway comment.
"I've a lot to learn both on and off the court, and need to be a lot more careful about how silly remarks may come across.
"I live for tennis and I'd never want to do anything that could hurt the reputation of a game I love."

Hmm well to be perfectly honest, though I do really like Laura, she did kind of disappoint me a little with her remarks. [:S] I mean I totally agree with what she said, but it's not really any of her concern what other players get up to, she should just keep her head down and work hard on becoming a better tennis player so she can kick more butt [H]. But I guess everyone should cut her some slack, she's still young and she will learn that she should think carefully what she should say before she actually says it. It's good that she realised her mistake and apologised for it. [:)] Everyone makes mistakes, and as far as I know this is the only one she's made, and it's not such a big one so no big deal. [:)]
