Yeah don't know why he retired at only 26 after winning about 11 grand slams. That's like Federer hanging up his racquet next year.

Yeah but the unfortunate thing is I never saw him - he must have retired 15-20 years before I was even born...

can Agassi be a legend now that he's retired?

If so, I would say my favorite male legend would be Andre Agassi, and female either Chris Evert or Martina Navratilova.

Yes he's definitely a legend

And yeah, it's funny how no one thinks of Seles that much - I guess you could say she only had half the career of a legend - 9 slams by 22 but never made much of a ripple later...

Its gotta be Pistol Pete for me, absolute legend!! So calm and collected always!! I guess it depends who you used to watch when growing up, some of them were before my time so I have never really seen them play that much, but Sampras was around when I was growing up in the 90s and he always played classic matches at Wimbledon! We used to watch his matches when we were about 8 or 9 years old, and then you'd go out and play tennis with your friends and try to imagine for a few seconds that maybe you could be as good as him! :D

Yeah RIchard Krajicek stuffed his run in '96 at Wimbledon - he would have won about 7 in a row otherwise...
