Good luck against Larcher de Brito today.

Will not be easy.

For sure Sori is hotter than Ana, but I mean it's not that hard to be hotter than Ivanovic, Ana's face looks dreadfull and anti-sleep at times.[:D]

Indeed, Sorana is a hottie--and will be more so after a little training. (The trouble with her feet may well go away if she drops as little as five to ten pounds.)

I wanna say that the foot trouble wasn't all she had to contend with yesterday. The match with Radwanska was on a playing field far from level! She had good reason for her outbursts. A number of line calls were seriously suspicious and even the Yank commentators were moved on one point to question the chair's behavior. Frankly, I felt some of his decisions were to offset Radwanska's incompetence--particularly in the first & part of the second sets.

This has to be regarded in the context of the coverage. The "world feed" (same thing Eurosport is showing) was so blatantly tilted to put Radwanska in your face that is was not amusing. It was very clear who the broadcasters favored.

After Sorana won anyway, ESPN2 replayed the match after Maria's last night. Guess what? The tape had been noticeably retooled to create the illusion of fair & balanced coverage! See, these sh!ts know exactly what they're doing.

So, Cirstea had an uphill fight in many ways. At this point, (with movement issues due to foot pain) I think she could only take Stosur if Sam nods off but we know that can happen. [;)] Whatever way things go tonight, however, Cirstea has already accomplished a lot here. [H]

I think Sori has a chance against Sam because Sam was a bit inconsistent in her match against Zheng but every match is a new match. It's gonna be a tight one for sure, I'm watching it tonight on Eurosport :]

LOL about Ivanovic and I agree with you guys!  I've seen both in real life too and Sorana is so pretty, plus she came across as a really lovely girl. [:)]

Anyways congrats to Sorana for the victory!  Good Luck against Sam, I'll be happy whoever wins though, like them both. [:)]

Cirstea drops M. Shaughnessy 75 75 at Cincy. Meets Groenefeld next. Could confront Lenochka in Round of 16.
